Online Abuse Prevention Training
All Clergy, Vestry Members, Employees, and Child and Youth Workers (paid or volunteer) must complete this training every two years. It must be completed prior to ordination, transfer, and/or hire for clergy, prior to hire for employees, and prior to serving for Vestry Members and Child and Youth Workers.
The required online Abuse Prevention Training may be completed through the platforms below (or another approved module):
In-Person Safeguarding Policy Training
All Clergy, Vestry Members, Employees, and Child and Youth Workers (paid or volunteer) must complete this training every two years. This training covers the contents of the Safeguarding Policy. It must be completed within 6 months of serving or hire.
Other Safeguarding Training
All ADOC Clergy are required to complete additional training. This training is renewed every five years.
